Outdoes Harlan Coben!

Every book by Andrew Gross is better than the next! If you're a fan of Harlan Coben books, you will really enjoy this Andrew Gross thriller. ( I just read the recent Harlan Coben book and there is no comparison because the Andrew Gross book "Everything to Lose" is much much better. Gross has perfected the 'everyday person put into a harrowing suspenseful/dangerous situation' plotline. This book is very much like a Hitchcock storyline. Not wanting to give away any 'spoilers', I can tell you that it provides non-stop action as you follow the main character through this nail biter of a plot. Once you start this book, you won't be able to put it down. It was so good that I was sad when it ended. I can't wait until his next book comes out.

Fast and easy read...did not like the way it ended...

Detailed and well written, but rather depressing story line especially ending. The main character is well fleshed out, but ending was not as I personally felt it should have been. I know there is no such thing as happily ever after but she should have at least come out of all the drama with a new, rather than dead relationship. I found one glaring editing error in one of the conversations between Patrick and main character but it was rather minor and had nothing to do with my less then stellar rating...There could have been more to the story but after the bad guys die (and everyone else) it kind of just ends. depressing..

I found this book a little slow in the beginning.....hence the four stars instead of five......but once I got into the story it became a gripping ride. A mother fighting for her son was a great theme, although I thought it was a little over the top at times.
The character of Patrick was really well rounded and believable. I also liked the final twist of some doubt about Brandon. To say more about that would spoil it for the reader, so enough said!
Would certainly recommend this book.

I always enjoy this authors books. Something happening all the time. Interesting characters and a story that gets you thinking about what you would do in the same circumstances. A good ending even though you would like it to end differently. Enjoyed it very much. All crime readers should love it.

I have always appreciated Andrew Gross. This book was good not great. Good characters, reasonably good story. Quite short definitely not value for money. Just worth a read. I bought this book at Amazon Kindle.

WHAT a ride !! I would never have read his books , but his co-writing with James Patterson , changed my mind , and I am SO GLAD to have delved into these riveting reads !!! Marvellous !

Having not read an Andrew Gross novel for quite a while, I won't be rushing to read the next one. The story lacked backbone. Characters weren't really developed deeply enough to draw me into the story

Andrew Gross has his own distinctive style and it is repeated in this book, but perhaps, not to quite the same extent as his earlier novels. This one tends to have 'dead' spots in it, but in comparison to many other authors, this does not reflect in the overall - a tight, well constructed read.

I chose this because I have read a number of his co-written books with James PATTERSON. This is just as good on his own. Can't wait to read more of his.

I enjoyed the story but felt a lot of it was padding. I love this author and am praying he won't just churn stuff out for the sake of money.
