Amazon.com: Customer reviews: COWIN E8 [Upgraded] Active Noise Cancelling Headphone Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone Hi-Fi Deep Bass Wireless Headphones Over Ear 20 Hour Playtime for Travel/Work/TV/Computer/Phone - Orange
Okay, these are super uncomfortable if you have a large head, only wore for less than 5 minutes. 7 5/8 noggin here, not THAT big, but they push down hard on crown of head, and really don't cover ears (just top 3/4 so uncomfortable there too). My on ear cheap ones are more comfortable and don't hurt the top of my head. Sent back, ordering Sony M3's, bite the bullet, buy the best first, only cry once. Hope they fit better!
ANR: not impressive at all. Turn it on, off, all that changes is they don't sound like you're in a shell anymore. Can still hear everything else fine. Does affect music quality especially in mids and highs. I'm NOT an audiophile, so when I tell you not impressive. It must really not be impressive. Mediocre at best.
Very comfortable headphones, fit over the ears so well you don't even know you have them on. Great noise cancelling. Too deep of bass for my enjoyment. For the money, they were built fairly well. You will probably have problems down the road if you intend to keep them for a while. Didn't like the sound quality , too deep and washed out. Not enough high tones. The volume controls were hard to work for me, but then again I'am in my sixties and my elbow doesn't bend like it did in early life, and my fingers don't have the feeling in them like they used to.
First, the construction of these headphones is really good. Solid head-mount, solid earpieces, and the magnet ear-cushions are great. However, I purchased 2 pairs of headphones in 24 hours and my $36 pair of plastic Odio's have a much richer, better sound than these. The sound in the E8's is muffled with little to no bass. The description stated a Deep Bass. For $179.00 after-tax, I am very disappointed. These are likely going to sit in their box. The sound is an important part of headphones and carries more weight in my review then construction.
Wireless headphones give me a headache, I thought I would get huge headphones so the antenna would be farther from my head and not give me a headache. I'm pretty sure they put it right smack on the top of these headphones because if you use the wireless it gets hot and gives me a headache.
Also, the noise canceling and sound quality are okay, but I find myself default to my wired nose earbuds which somehow have better sound and noise canceling.
I have this bluetooth connected to an iPhone XS. It's a fine pair of headphones, noise cancelling, etc., but the BEEPING is too much. Every time I change the volume... BEEEEP. Every time I change a song... BEEEEP. Everytime I play a video... BEEEEP. Sometimes, I'm just scrolling thru Youtube and it's beeping. I was in the App Store, scrolling around and BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. I don't need a BEEP to tell me the volume has changed, the fact that the volume has changed tells me the volume has changed. I don't need a BEEEEEP to tell me the song has changed; the fact the song has changed tells me the song has changed. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. Is that annoying to read? Imagine hearing that in your ears every two seconds. BEEEEEEEEP! This is getting returned.
