Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Dog Shock Collar - Dog Training Collar with Remote, 3 Training Modes, Up to 1000Ft Remote Range, 0~99 Shock Levels, Beep, Vibration ,Shock, Rechargeable Remote Shock Collar for Dogs
I liked everything about this e-collar, after doing research on several -- I liked the option of having three levels to choose from with the last being the shock. I have only had to use the shock twice (and not on the highest level) and he responded well. I would highly recommend this collar, I would strongly suggest that you thoroughly read the instructions before using both for your feeling of comfort and definitely the comfort of your companion. If I could sum it up in two words I would have to say ……. "IT WORKS"
The remote control is easy to operate. The collar is lightweight and fits comfortably around our dog's neck. We like that there are three training modes; vibrate, beep and static (adjustable) commands. Our pooch, Charlie, immediately responded to the vibrate and beep modes when he tried to jump up on a neighbor. We love our dog Charlie and needed an effective training system that would not hurt him. We decided to buy the Dog Care Dog Training Collar after he jumped up and scratched a relatives's leg who was wearing shorts at the time. You can also use one remote with 3 collars to train 3 dogs at the same time! Great training system; highly recommended.
Our dog knows all of his commands well but he wouldn’t listen when we were outside only indoors, so we decided to give an e-collar a try. We tried out the older version of this collar and we fell in love with it! I wish they wouldn’t have changed the sound since he listens better to the older version but it’s okay. The most extreme that we have had to do to him was shock him at a level 10 when he wouldn’t leave a dog alone but that’s it. We love this collar and we are so grateful that we can now have our dog off leash at all times because he will listen!
I have a 75 lb 1 year old Ridgeback that was terrorizing my older dogs. So I thought I would give this a shot after trying just about every other training technique. This is all I did and withing 2 hours she is obeying just the beep tone. Step 1- Charged Devices Step 2- Fitted Collar Step 3- Tried shock on my arm and set sensitivity setting. Please check this I thought 85% was way to high and ended up on only 10 percent. Step 4- Each time she charge the other dogs I hit a beep then shock. Took 3 times and she did not go near them. 45 min later I turned just used the beep, skipped the vibration mode all together, and she backs off each time.
For the price I thought the quality was nice as well.
What a relief. I look forward to further training her now knowing I have this tool.
My neighbor had the previous model and I really liked all the features it had, especially the button lock. The only thing I didn’t like was that the collar seemed bulky, but my pup is growing really fast so I wasn’t too worried about it. I looked up the brand and saw that they had this newer updated model and it retained all the features as the previous model but in a more compact collar and remote. Once I saw that, I was sold on it.
If any issues arise I will update my review with what happened and the outcome of it. But so far, I love it.
Brought this collar for our newly acquired 6 month old Rott mix puppy. We haven’t used it long enough to test out the battery life quite yet. So far we are overly pleased with this product. He responds to the vibration and the beep already. Our pit mix is jelly she doesn’t have one yet, (hers is in the mail) she is used to wearing collars and seems to enjoy them. Her current one the controller is broke and it’s pain to charge and the intensity is so easy to raise or lower on accident, so we can’t wait for her new one to show up! We like that you can turn the shock on or off and there’s no easy way to accidentally put it on 99 then hit the button and not reaize it! This one also has the lock feature so beeping and vibrating can’t happen during unwanted times.
We have had this for about a month. It is durable and battery last about a week on the collar and about 3 weeks on the remote. The remote shows battery level on remote only. We have the older version too. I prefer the newer one because of the smaller size and it auto shuts off after a few hours to save collar battery. I wish new version had the battery level display on the remote for the collar but it is not that big of a trade off. The remote fits good in my hand and does not want to slip out. Buttons on the remote are easy to press with my thumb. The buttons have a good arrangement to step up to get you dogs attention. We rarely do more that a quick beep to get his attention. Great product for the price.
I have 2 puppies 6 and 10 months who I have been training but sometimes it’s hard because I have two, so they play off of each other. So one doesn’t jump until the other does. Or one only dogs when the other does. I’ve had the collar for 2 days and I’m already impressed. I love the beep and vibrate option it has to pre warn them with a voice command. I start at beep then vibrate. Shock is last and I’ve only had to use it once! Huge improvement! I also use praise a lot with proper behavior but this helps with the stuff I can’t have continually happening. BEST part is I can hook up up to 3 collars on one remote! This is going to be a life saver. I have beautiful smart dogs, who are very stubborn. Thankful I purchased this at such a great price. Did I mention NO BATTERIES NEEDED?! All chargeable!
