Instead of teaching our youth some parents rely on that 'look to God stuff', you can instill actual wisdom in your children IF you have acquired any yourself.
I could see myself in Mya making many of the same young women mistakes - the rush to be in love, straddling a guy with a baby before he can even figure out who he is and the pain of betrayal when you find out the man you thought was so special is too full of insecurities himself to fill you up.
Yes, the writers and cast really nailed it.
