Kind of a disappointment - Edited 4/8/2020

I really love the idea of this combo machine. It's great when you want a quick morning pot full or if you're just grabbing an afternoon cup. The full pot side is a little complicated. There's dials and buttons that have to be set, but after a few rounds, and an associate engineering degree, you'll get it. In other words, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to run this thing, but it wouldn't hurt. The Keurig side is super easy. My two year old can operate this side. My biggest complaint about this system is that it is the messiest coffee maker I've ever used. The Keurig side splatters coffee all over the counter like a horse pissing on a flat rock. The reservoir on the coffee pot side has a fill hole about the size of a sewing needle. Why didn't they make this one removable like the Keurig side. I don't have an engineering degree, but I know that would have worked out a lot better. I have to use a funnel to make sure I don't spill all my water when filling this reservoir. One time, one of the Keurig pod's top came off when I closed that lid. There's no way to know until it's done brewing. There were grounds everywhere. And talk about hard to clean up. There's still coffee grounds in places I can't reach. The filter unit on the pot side... if you don't seat that thing exactly right... you will have coffee EVERYWHERE, the grounds, the liquid, etc... all over the maker and your counter. This coffee maker is not unlike playing Russian roulette. You just never know when it's going work. I wouldn't mind cuisinart calling me into their lab the next time they want to design something for a home. I would love to point out their mistakes like my ex used to do to me.
4/8/2020 This machine never ceased to piss me off. This coffeemaker makes more messes than my 2 year old. I want my money back!!! Do NOT buy this junk.
