I use both SOCKS & INSOLES
March 7, 2018
Okay, I will firstly say that I LOVE THESE BOOTS!! I never wore boots before, but my new job requires something waterproof all the time. I wore some I bought at Walmart, but they were quite heavy and started to break down after only a couple of weeks. These crocs were recommended by my coworkers initially, and I have finally listened to them. :P
-They are very light! I am so surprised, almost like air.
-They are fashionable! I want to own all the colors :D I never thought to wear rain boots until now! I can’t wait to wear them out of work during the rainy season with some snazzy outfits.
Confused on the sizes? So was I...
I hate returning things, so I always want to make sure I order the right size. Reviews did not help unfortunately. I was going to order a size 9 according to some advice to people with half sizes (I’m an 8.5 in shoes), but they didn’t have it in yellow so I got a size down, an 8, and I am GLAD I DID!!! Size 8 is already BIG! I’m sure size 9 would have been humongous! But they fit great! Why? Well....
-I use both SOCKS and INSOLES inside which makes size 8, which is originally big without them, fit nice and snug without crushing my feet.
-I added image measurements of my feet size. (8.5 length and roughly 3.5 width)
-croc says if you have half size go up one size, but that’s bull poopy for me. Even without my insoles and just my socks, the boots are still uncomfortably roomy.
-if you’re like me, same foot size, planning to add insoles and wear socks, get the size 8.
—if not, get a 7, even if you are just wearing socks.
**if your still not sure...
—-half sizes should go a size down(8.5 to 8) IF you’re planning to wear thick socks or regular socks with insoles.
—-or go two sizes down (8.5 to 7) if planning to wear just regular socks, even thick socks would probably work in these too.
I suck at explaining, hope some of these things helped.
One thing I HATE about this, they CREASE very EASILY. (See my photos) this was only on day one of use.
