I have unleashed a IOV Monster in my wife.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife.......She love it but I have become the unknowing victim of Iron on Vinyl. Every piece of fabric is now covered in this stuff, everything my kids ware now has their name and decorations. I have hidden all my favorite hoodies and T-shirts from my wife. You have been warned, works great but be sure your ready for the consequences of buying this product.

Waste of money and time

This was such a bad purchase for me. I’ve been making tee shirts and bags with HVT so I decided on the Easy Press over an iron or more expensive heat press. Unfortunately the Easy Press has failed me almost every time I’ve used it. I have to apply so much pressure with it to get anything to stick, and I sense that it never truly gets up to the selected temperature. Once, while traveling, I didn’t have the Easy Press handy, so I used a standard iron and it worked like a champ. The same vinyl that would not adhere with the Easy Press easily stuck with the iron. I’ve ruined so many tee shirts and projects on adhesive that doesn’t fully stick. I do not recommend spending the money on this.

I have been wanting to purchase a heat press for quite some time. I read and study reviews before making a purchase decision. The big and bulky heat presses seem nice, but I lack the space currently. When I learned that the EasyPress 2 now has higher heat temperatures, I read all of the reviews and decided that this would best fit my needs. I purchased the largest one available. I LOVE that it is portable and was able to take it on vacation with me and craft with my grown daughter. She's about 8 months pregnant and wanted to make cute things for the baby's room. This EasyPress came in handy and I could not be more pleased with it! I suspect that I will get plenty of use out of it. #happy

Although i had to use a considerable amount of pressure, this heat press worked like a charm. I have made many beautiful things with it.
After 2 months of use, it gave me an E3 error code, and would shut off. Meaning, it wouldn't heat up.
Faulty equipment happens, and as long as Cricut was willing to replace, it was just an inconvenience.
Circuit did agree to replace it, after waiting on hold for 40 minutes, and then exchanging emails to provide them with several pieces of info, including a video. Annoying, (especially the 40 minute hold time) but forgiveable.
What I have the biggest problem with is that it is taking 2-3 weeks to get my replacement, and it is holding me up from completing projects. Now I am using a hand iron, and wishing Cricut would improve their response to customers when their products fail.

Love the convenience of this heat press. My work space is limited and this is not bulky and easy to store out of the way when not in use. So glad I purchased this and not a standard heat press. Love the fact that I can take it with me anywhere. I’ve made several shirts and the heat is even and does a great job!

This product is amazing! I needed a heat press for my business and decided on an easypress over an actual heat press even though the prices were similar. Why?
1. I can store this bad boy. A regular heat press is bulky and weighs quite a bit and would have taken up space in my limited craft corner. I have a cube storage space and just slip the easypress into a cube when it cools down
2. Safety- since the easypress has a raised insulated base, I don’t worry about it burning what it’s sitting on. It has a shut off after about 10 minutes and with kids, that’s very important to me. Heat presses have heat on both sides as well, so it’s easier to burn fingers whereas I don’t worry about hurting myself if I am not super careful.
3. Time. This product heats up in less than 3 minutes. 3 whole minutes. That’s nothing! I turn it on and cut my design and am ready to go! I don’t have to wait forever or pre-plan turning it on. I can make a shirt in less than 5 minutes!
4. Easy to use- I just turn the easy press on, select my temp with one button (usually I don’t have to bc it saves my last used temp) and go! I can adjust the timer as well. Once it’s heated I can use it to iron the shirt before I place my design and then I just push it down with pressure and I’m done! Anyone can use this.
5. Size. I chose the largest size and I’m glad I did. The large size covers my entire design and I can press in one go rather than waiting and doing multiple parts. It’s rather heavy too, so it puts pressure on the design as well.
All in all, I love this thing and plan on using it as much as possible. I’ve even ironed clothes with it 😂 . If you have kids or a small space, this is definitely something you’ll want!

This thing is a piece of junk. It worked fine for about 2 weeks then the temperature kept going up and up surpassing what we had set it for. It will also periodically drop in temperature and then jump around +/- 10 degrees. Too expensive not to work properly. Buy at your own risk.

This product (12x10 model) works great. We have used this product for approximately 6+ months now. Before buying we actually had watched a few YouTube videos on comparisons between this and a regular heat press. It seems that there weren't any dramatic differences in function per say, but the Cricut had advantages in ease of use and being mobile.
Actual heat distribution comparisons were in favor of the Cricut as well. For someone just starting out in vinyl work this is a great product to start with...although it can be a little pricey.
We have made several cups, bags, and shirts and haven't had any problems. This has been a great product for us.

The Cricut Heat press was my first heat press purchase. I have used a larger heat press before so I know how this works in comparison with a pull down heat press. This was a good price, is extremely easy to use, has a shut off feature in case you forget to turn it off, and has a great timer you can push to time ironing on your vinyl. I have noticed that this heat press does not distribute heat evenly across the entire 12x12 heat base. The directions state to press the material for 30 seconds, but I have often found that it takes much longer. I sometimes have to do 3 sets of 30 seconds in order for my vinyl to be adhered correctly. That is not a huge issue for me because I do love that this heat press is smaller, easier to store, easy to move around wherever you might need it, and the overall ease of access was worth it to me when I do not have a large space for my crafts. I would recommend this product for home HTV crafting!

I bought it for home use. I was considering a low-end commercial heat press but learned that unless you spend $600+ they heat unevenly when they do finally heat up. This heats up fast, has a time, turns off automatically, and turns off when you're not using it after 10 minutes, and has nice even heat. Easy to store away.
