Decent, Cheap Bandanas
Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2014
I bought these because I only have three or four around the house and I usually wear them when I work out to soak up sweat. I was looking to buy five or six bandanas but many of them seemed to be $3 or $4 each, which to me, seems kind of expensive for a small, thin piece of fabric.
I debated whether or not I wanted to buy these, based on the fact that they end up being around a buck a piece. Although the price seemed great, would the quality at least be decent?
After arriving at my house the first thing I did was wash these (I like to wash all my clothes before wearing the first time). The first thing I noticed when I pulled them out of the dryer was that most of them were very wrinkly. In all fairness, I'm pretty bad at leaving clothes in the dryer after it's finished, so I know that certainly didn't help my cause. From now on I've been better about taking them out of the dryer on time and they seem much less wrinkled (although still slightly more so than my old bandanas).
On to the quality of the bandanas. I'll admit that these aren't quite as nice as my old ones. They feel a little bit thinner and slightly rougher on my skin compared to normal $3-$4 bandanas. Having said that, I still think these are a good value, at least for the way I use them. I fold them up and tie them around my forehead and they do a fine job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes when I work out, which is all I care about. So the only reason I won't give them five stars is because the quality is certainly not as good as the much pricier ones.
I will say I was particularly happy with these colors as well. Blue, red, black and white are pretty standard as far as bandana colors go and I actually like the green and yellow as well.
