We own an IRobot which we put in th pool house and purchased this for the house. What a great choice. This product is super quiet and functions better than our IRobot. Very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.
I have been using this from couple of weeks and enjoying really good. It has really cool mode that is very helpful to clean different types of area. It has auto mode that decide power by vacuum, spot mode that useful to clean specific area, border mode to clean corners of room, max mode to use maximum vaccum force, schedule mode that useful when you have to scheduling for clean.
I has home mode which is very cool that inform vaccum to go to charging base. I also read on instructions that during cleaning if battery is low then it will return to home base. It also have physical boundaries that need to purchase separately to restrict vaccum to go to other area.
It has some cons that when it go to hardwood to carpet sometimes it bend carpet border. When I control my vaccum with directions control and drive vaccum in reverse it was some few times from hardwood to carpet transition.
Where do I begin. This company has horrible horrible horrible customer service. Anything to them is an inconvenience and always sound annoyed. Every time I call Amazon they transferred me to them and they asked for pictures, videos, "proof" and all this and all that through email. They say they will call me back when they get the email. I NEVER receive a response! The brushes get damaged so quickly. I've had it for over two weeks and I have gone through two brush set . The main brush is also tore up already. Keep in mind Cordey says that you should replace these every 6 to 8 months it has been two weeks. After the 1st 4 days I had to replace the 1st set! And yes I make sure to pick up big pieces of trash, clothes, paper and make sure to remove everything that could be a obstruct it. What was Coredy customer service rep solution? To use the additional brushes that came with the robot, that were ment for me to use 6 months from now. I informed rep that I'm bummed bc now I'm out these brushes and it seem like I will need to replace the brushes every week. That's a bit too high maintenance and will eventually get expensive. No empathy was show. He said the next brushes will do better. How does he know that!? Well they didn't and I called back. And back to square one. Additionally, the robot gets stuck in random places and can't find his way out. It cant even find his way back to the charging port. I have to physically pick it up and take it back so I can charge. I don't feel at ease leaving it on a timed cleaning cycle because I'm scared it's going to get stuck somewhere and get damaged and perhaps void my warranty on it (if that even means anything because they don't help you regardless) or damage something of mine. For two hundred bucks I really expected more out of this. At least halfway removed the chore of sweeping. But instead I have an extra chore of watching this damn robot like a child! It doesn't even clean in a specific pattern it goes everywhere and skips all kinds of areas in my living room and kitchen. I'm thinking maybe it needs a couple of weeks to adjust but it's been over two! The picture attached is after 4 days of light use 😒
March 18, 2019 UPDATE So it appears that Coredy monitors these reviews and called me today with a different tone and better solution. They will be shipping me new brushes. I'm still waiting on a confirmation email with tracking for said brushes. Fingers crossed! They also asked if I could remove negativity review I informed I would update it. ✔️Done
I bought both the Eufy 11S and the Coredy R500+ to compare the two. I ran a few tests (1/2 cup of rice + 1/2 cup of shredded paper on floor in a 12ftx12ft room with outdoor carpet running each for 20 minutes on auto and max suction) and they both preform basically the same picking all but a few grains of rice (1-3 grains) and a few pieces of shredded paper (1-5 pieces of paper) so it provided little insight into which to keep for me. Spot clean and perimeter clean preformed basically the same between the two as well. The Coredy might be slightly louder on max then the Eufy on max but the Coredy has a higher max suction (1400pa Coredy vs 1300pa Eufy) so that might be why? My overall opinion of the two is that they are both great vacuums for the money but both have their own faults. Here are the notables: 1. Coredy has a smaller bin (.55 L vs .6 L on Eufy). 2. Power Consumption is 28W on Coredy vs. 25W on the Eufy. 3. The charging doc and remote are nicer for the Eufy in my opinion (IMO). 4. The Coredy vacuum looks nicer IMO. 5. Manually directing the vac with the remote is better with the Eufy. Each press of an arrow turns the Eufy a smaller degree than the Coredy which makes for a better user experience IMO. 6. Stopping the Coredy using the remote or power button on the vacuum is much smoother compared to the Eufy. The Eufy makes a weird motor noise before it stops/powers down it's motors/suction. 7. The Coredy has a return to home button on the vacuum; the Eufy does not. You must use the remote to return the Eufy to home...or press the power button on it and carry it home. Both vacuums will return to home automatically when their batteries are low. 8. The bin design on the Eufy is better IMO when it comes to emptying the debris. 9. Coredy has a nicer box if that matters to you. 10. Coredy doesn't remember the last suction setting. If you selected "Max suction" last time it was cleaning then the next time it cleans it will not use "Max suction". The Eufy does remember the last suction setting and will reuse it for subsequent cleanings. 11. Finding replacement parts for the R500+ is much harder at the time I am writing this review compared to the Eufy. There are plenty of replacement parts for the R500 but compatibility of those parts with the R500+ could not be confirmed especially when it comes to the replacement roller brush.
If I could combine the two vacuums I think I'd have the perfect low budget robo vac but until improvements are made of each they are both 4/5 stars.
Avoid buying this. It was easy to setup to be fair. And the product look sleek. But it doesnt do anything that it claims. Once it is switched on , it randomly moves and goes and hit the border and the move to another random direction. There is no guarantee that entire room will be covered.
I've got it about a month ago as a replacement for old Roomba 560. So far - very happy with the purchase. Coredy is certainly well made, greatly packaged, comes with simple instructions and remote is super handy. All my floors are hardwood and I can confirm the claimed 2 hours run time. It's also pretty thin! Roomba used to get stuck below the countertops - this one is fine. All in all - very impressive and quite affordable. Cheers!
This is my first robot vacuum. I was skeptical at first but this machine did not disappoint. It came in a nice box and set up was easy. I charged it right away and used it the next day. I love the design and build. The best part, it does the job. I also didn't see the machine having any difficulty moving from one floor type to another. It works both on carpet and vinyl flooring. And easily finds its way back to its base.
Unboxing the vacuum was pretty simple. It required about 2 minutes of setup before charging. After the vacuum was fully charged let it run, It seemed to do a good job cleaning. The floor had some dirt on it which is why I ran the vacuum. Being busy I wanted to see using a robot vacuum would help keep the house cleaner. My first floor is a mixture between hardwood and carpet and the vac had no issues going from flooring to flooring. I really like the remote can steer the robot to exactly where you want it. The robot is also fairly quiet. I need to setup the scheduler so it will run automatically every other day or so. So far after using it for 3 days it’s a good purchase. My only issue is the vacuum ran on it's own the first night. I didn't setup the clock so it must have come reprogrammed to run. I turned the power switch off on the bottom so it stays on it's base until I setup the timer.
This is my first robo vacuum and I kind of like it a lot.
It’s side brushes help to collect trash and climbed up on carpet. However side brushes needs to be more stronger.
It’s easy to clean and remove trash. It’s easy to control vacuum using remote control provided. My house is having lots of stuff around so I am controlling it using remote control so that it won’t go areas where it can stuck. But if it is open area , it is cleaning very well and by itself. Battery life is also great. I only charged once and it is working for me for almost a week and still battery is there. I like the way it is finding its base once we press home button. It will automatically go and sit back on its base.
My son badly loved it and controlling it like a remote control toy and at the same time my house is getting cleaned too.
It is also safe to use even if kids or pets are around because it will automatically stop if anyone will pick it up or turn up. You can manually start it again using remote or a button on itself.
My friends were surprised seeing how it is working.
Overall a great product at very good price. Definitely recommended.
I got this less than two months ago and have only been able to use it smoothly once. Since then it always fails after a few minutes as you can see on the video. I just submitted a ticket with the company, I will adjust my review depending on their response. So far it has been a fiasco. You get this kind of vacuum to just leave it working and I have too restart it and charge it again and turn it on and off again. I guess we will see, if nothing comes from the company this is a safe return. Update: I have been communicating with the company since May 1st and I still have no reply. They keep requesting videos and then I don't hear anything. I have talked to them twice and sent numerous email. My advise: DO NOT BUY THIS.
IT DOES NOT WORK AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND. We got offered $25 Amazon gift card. For a $200 vacuum that doesn't work where we purchased the extended warranty????
