Where do I begin. This company has horrible horrible horrible customer service. Anything to them is an inconvenience and always sound annoyed. Every time I call Amazon they transferred me to them and they asked for pictures, videos, "proof" and all this and all that through email. They say they will call me back when they get the email. I NEVER receive a response! The brushes get damaged so quickly. I've had it for over two weeks and I have gone through two brush set . The main brush is also tore up already. Keep in mind Cordey says that you should replace these every 6 to 8 months it has been two weeks. After the 1st 4 days I had to replace the 1st set! And yes I make sure to pick up big pieces of trash, clothes, paper and make sure to remove everything that could be a obstruct it. What was Coredy customer service rep solution? To use the additional brushes that came with the robot, that were ment for me to use 6 months from now. I informed rep that I'm bummed bc now I'm out these brushes and it seem like I will need to replace the brushes every week. That's a bit too high maintenance and will eventually get expensive. No empathy was show. He said the next brushes will do better. How does he know that!? Well they didn't and I called back. And back to square one. Additionally, the robot gets stuck in random places and can't find his way out. It cant even find his way back to the charging port. I have to physically pick it up and take it back so I can charge. I don't feel at ease leaving it on a timed cleaning cycle because I'm scared it's going to get stuck somewhere and get damaged and perhaps void my warranty on it (if that even means anything because they don't help you regardless) or damage something of mine. For two hundred bucks I really expected more out of this. At least halfway removed the chore of sweeping. But instead I have an extra chore of watching this damn robot like a child! It doesn't even clean in a specific pattern it goes everywhere and skips all kinds of areas in my living room and kitchen. I'm thinking maybe it needs a couple of weeks to adjust but it's been over two! The picture attached is after 4 days of light use 😒
March 18, 2019 UPDATE So it appears that Coredy monitors these reviews and called me today with a different tone and better solution. They will be shipping me new brushes. I'm still waiting on a confirmation email with tracking for said brushes. Fingers crossed! They also asked if I could remove negativity review I informed I would update it. ✔️Done
I got this less than two months ago and have only been able to use it smoothly once. Since then it always fails after a few minutes as you can see on the video. I just submitted a ticket with the company, I will adjust my review depending on their response. So far it has been a fiasco. You get this kind of vacuum to just leave it working and I have too restart it and charge it again and turn it on and off again. I guess we will see, if nothing comes from the company this is a safe return. Update: I have been communicating with the company since May 1st and I still have no reply. They keep requesting videos and then I don't hear anything. I have talked to them twice and sent numerous email. My advise: DO NOT BUY THIS.
IT DOES NOT WORK AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND. We got offered $25 Amazon gift card. For a $200 vacuum that doesn't work where we purchased the extended warranty????
Avoid buying this. It was easy to setup to be fair. And the product look sleek. But it doesnt do anything that it claims. Once it is switched on , it randomly moves and goes and hit the border and the move to another random direction. There is no guarantee that entire room will be covered.
Well, I gave into the advertisement on Facebook and ordered one of these things. The price was good, shipping was free, and delivery was accurate and fast. When the unit arrived, it was easy to unpack and set up. After a short charge, the unit took off and began to clean. The remote is good and a handy thing to have. With the arrows you can drive the thing almost anywhere and the home button will send it back to the charging base if you are close enough.
However!! I am going to try to return the unit. I have only had it a week and the brushes are already in need of replacement. (It did come with a spare set.) The unit has never made it back to home base after cleaning. It always manages to get stuck somewhere. You must pick up all extension cords and the like, or they will get tangled up in the brushes. You must pick up all small rugs, or they will get caught on the corners. On many pieces of furniture, it will start under and then get caught and shut down. Last night it got caught in the Alexa cord and jerked it off the table! For some unknow reason, it starts up every night and then gets caught somewhere. It's a seek and find game every morning to find it. It will clean light surface dust only. If something is slightly stuck, you better loosen it first or it will be there after cleaning. The roller brush seems to find every piece of string or hair and is not easily removable for cleaning. In order to keep it from going where you don't want it to, you must put up road blocks or buy that expensive black barrier tape they sell.
Overall, it was an intriguing device but not a good investment. Even with the $50.00 gift card they offered for a good review.
I've had the thing for less than 2 weeks, and it rarely has cleaned my small two-room apartment. It goes in circles sometimes and usually stops after 10 minutes, beeping several times and the red light lit up. I've followed the troubleshooting directions over and over again and still it doesn't work. The manual is written in Chinese English.
What is an extractor, anyway?? It is not even shown in the diagram illustrations of the parts! Yet the manual says to "femove and clean robot's extractors and caps"! What the dickens are they talking about?
The robot frequently hits a wall or other object and then rests there for 5+ minutes without changing directions and going somewhere else.
Where to start. We received the vacuum about a month ago. In the middle of its run time the other evening it was in the middle of the room and started going in circles and shut itself off and started beeping. We tried cleaning it throughly and restarting the clean and it continued the same circles and shut off again. I went through the manual and tried everything to fix it. It seems like the motor for the right wheel went out so I tried contacting the manufacturer. They had me go through the same steps the manual suggested then told me I needed to email them a video of the issue and they would get back to me with a solution. I did this and haven’t gotten anything back in almost 2 weeks. Every follow up call goes through the same events resulting in more emails with no response. Now I have a useless product that lasted a month that it seems will have no solution to its problem as I can’t even order the part to replace it myself.
Through that month we found that it is very sporadic in its cleaning. It will spend a lot of time in some areas and none in others. It also gets stuck often in random areas and beeps for it to be picked up and moved to resume cleaning. With that we can’t have it on a timed run because we have to be around when it does get trapped. The only upside is when it was operating properly it did keep the dog hair at bay.
Does not work anymore!after less than two weeks For some reason it is all of a sudden confused and freezes up after turning on Also got replacement and almost same thing happened motor story now have to return
Purchased based on good reviews. Worked perfect the first 2 or 3 times but after that nothing but trouble! Stalls constantly and barely picks up anything and leaves trash behind in it's path. HUGE DISAPOINTMENT! My Eufy worked tons better! Can't rely on Amazon feedback anymore! Going to Consumer Reports for reviews from now on!
I thought this would be a good buy after reading previous reviews. Unfortunately, this has been a waste. Other robot vacuums remember the layout of the room once it is ran a few times. Mine has been used about 20 times and constantly gets stuck under furniture, slams into furniture and walls, and has almost pulled lamps off tables. The remote looks good, but is confusing with all the buttons and little explanation. Greatly disappointed in this product for its price.
EDIT: I am so so dissapointed with this company. I emailed customer support and they eventually sent me a new one but this Cordy is acting WORSE than the 1st one! This one is spinning in circles, cant find home, runs into things, and will stop and beep red when nothing is stuck. Ugh. Dont waste your money.
We got a late start opening Cordy so we missed the return window. The remote doesn't work well. When we set it to have cordy work at a certain time it doesn't. We checked all the settings and they are fine. Also, Cordy randomly stopped working. It won't hold a charge. I'm super dissapointed. :(
