My human constantly complains that I shed too much. I would just like to point out that she sheds just as much, but the problem is, she is too lazy to vacuum every day. This Christmas she bought herself this little robot vacuum cleaner. She calls it Rosie, after some cartoon robot that I'm not familiar with. It took a couple of days for us to figure out how best to use Rosie, but she has made quite a difference! I love rolling on the carpet after it has been freshly vacuumed, and my human loves that she doesn't have to vacuum herself everyday anymore. Rosie is quiet and efficient, and best of all, she doesn't scare me! She goes over the carpet and linoleum, and the area rug in the living room just fine. We both watched for awhile as Rosie got used to the area rug. If she goes at it head on, she will get stuck. But amazingly, the robot figured this out! Now she approaches the area rug at an angle every time and sails right along cleaning all the time! Mom likes to show me how much of my hair there is every time she empties it. I'm too polite to point out that there is a good deal of her hair in there as well. But now she's happy that she can be lazy and not vacuum, while still having clean floors. 5 paws in the air for our new robot cleaner!
I would say this is a good vacuum for the price. It has some stiff competition but it surprised me with some of it's performance.
Cons: No Mapping No "Smart Features" Lacks Navigation of "Higher End" Models - may get lost in a big house Lacks Suction of "HIgher End" Models
Pros: Long Battery Life Good Navigation, actually made it home Dual Suction Settings (for longer battery life and better cleaning) Adequate Dust Bin Able to clean hard floors, low pile and medium pile carpets.
I have a 2000+ sqft area with multiple rooms/walls/obstacles all on one level. The vacuum cleaning an impressively larger part of it, and managed to make it home (albeit it took a little while) each time it ran. I'm fairly confident that if I picked a time when we weren't home for the vacuum to run it would cut down on the frequency that we would need to heavy clean, and the amount of pet hair that piled up. It does a fairly good job of cleaning each area and seems to run along the baseboards as well. There is an IR remote that comes with it it has spot clean, heavy clean, baseboards, suction setting, etc. It allows you to set a regular time for cleaning as well. There is no phone or smart app, and there is no mapping. But once the battery runs low the vacuum traces a wall back until it "sees" the IR signal from the base. So I would put the base in the biggest open space you have. My vacuum made it back multiple times, even when it ran back from several rooms away. On the low setting the vacuum is pretty quiet, we had not problem talking with it in the same room. On the higher setting it's a little louder but nowhere near a regular vacuum. I regard it as an automatic floor sweeper that can suck up some smaller particles. This will definitely not replace a full size vacuum.
Bottom Line: For something to run around a give a regular sweeping it's great. It does not compare to the higher end Roombas and Neato vacs, but I would say it's features are comparable to other vacuums in the lower end price range. This would be best suited for a larger open area (studio apartment or a more open floor plan house). It works well for my situation.
I love how efficient this vacuum cleaner is! Its super easy to use. Offers a variety of settings. Within the first 3 days my vacuum discovered a hidden ice cream bar that had melted underneath of my sofa thanks to my son and it went into a pause mode because it was stuck. The wheels were embedded in ice cream and chocolate. Long story short I was able to take everything apart and clean it within a matter of 15 minutes. It picks up SO much a the finer particles. One of my sons have asthma and skin allergies and I can already tell that it's helping him. I have also saved a ton of time. I run this at night as we are settling down for the evening. I have hardly had to pick up a broom since having this and I'm one of those who sweeps 3 times a day. I have mainly hardwood and laminate floors throughout the house with the exception of a few area rugs and it maneuvers all of the thresh holds and different surfaces just fine. It even manages to lightly ride over a shag rug I have. I am totally sold on this product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to save time, energy and those suffering from allergies or respiratory illnesses.
So first thing first ... it was really quick install and I was ready to use in less than 5 mins... my kinda impatient product ...
As can be seen in video the robot vacuum cleaner makes no noise , was easily able to move to carpet and hardwood floor and sucked all dirt and little things and easily roam from one corner to another avoiding collision with the furniture and walls . Its lightweight so easy to carry not like my bulky traditional vacuum cleaner. Great suction power and was able to easily suck hairs spread all over carpet .. It return back to charging station automatically but due to limitation of review I can't put that video.
i like everything about the Coredy robot vscuum cleaner. 1st is that its suction power is really strong it picks up lots of dirt from thr carpet or flat surfaces. I like how you could program the robot to start cleaning on specified times and when its done doing wonders it goes back to the charging port. it reaches every part of the house, and after just a few days you could clearly see the difference of a carpet that have been regularly vacuumed by coredy. i like how its so easy to clean and empty the dirt compartment. im pleased with this machine, im glad i have it in my house. its one less thing to worry about, that is vacuuming.
Very easy and convenient to use. The charger is small and slim and the vacuum itself is not bulky, so they can be placed under furniture or in the corner of any room. Pretty quiet, not nearly as loud as a regular vacuum. It can easily change thresholds from hardwood floor to my rug, back to my wood floor, and even over thick mats in the kitchen without any problem. It follows a pattern so it just doesn't go in circles, or you can even change the settings on how you'd like the vacuum to circulate. It has strong suction because the filter is always really dirty, even when you think it wasn't that bad! It runs for about 2 hours, then it'll automatically go back to its charging base when it's on low battery. This has dramatically made cleaning the house easier as its one chore I basically don't have to do.
Trust me being a mom of two and having an infant A CLEAN DUST FREE floor is my utmost priority.. Always the fear stays on mind of dust mites . all small particles and need of clean floor where the little one can crawl. I will say 90% of the problem looks like solved. Rest 10% I would tell after using it for a month :) I am with the 1st week only.
Pros- Extremely trendy, A beautiful feature of charger base return- oh I love it. I played with it literally put it in my kichen with all kinds of obstacle.. yes it was able to find the path back from maze! Amazing design. It DOES CLEAN.. I was really skeptical whether this will be able to remove stuffs from the floor.. and it works both on carpets and wooden floor. features like Clean Schedule is really cool. The Remote control lets you direct it with a number of cleaning pattern and even manually direct the motion! The quick start guide is very smart.. I like board concept rather than a single paper.
Cons: As it has already delivered such a robust performance what I would love to see probably in next version - 1. Don't jump from 2nd floor when there is a gap below the railing. (I have not tried it, however its clearly mentioned in the instruction) 2. An app to guide it or program it. 3. Better handling of floor laid wires 4. Some means probably an extension to help take dust outs from low lying furnitures.
Wow, this is a wonderful robotic vacuum. The packaging is done well and the instruction are so clear. And coming to the setup its really easy. I was surprised that the vacuum does a good job. We have a small carpet and have vacuumed it many times and we still see particle. But the “Coredy” robot did a real good job and cleaned the carpet well.
Has various options and the edge vacuum is fantastic. One suggestion is, is the vacuum can be operation via an APP that would be awesome. You can schedule the vacuum to clean the house daily at a scheduled time which is awesome and is returns to the dock when done.
Some information in the manual is incorrect, LED lights are not green, and red. They are blue when charged and pinkish when charging. Although the manual talks about a boundary strip, there was nothing in the package.
I would highly recommend this product if you have dust in your house and have kids and pets! I had a roomba earlier and trust me this is way less noisier and more effective than Roomba. It does it's battery life is good and it picks up finer particles and hair really well. I am super impressed with this product!
This vacuum has exceeded my expectations! In fact “Coredy” is now considered a pet in our house and my son likes to have challenges with him and the dogs to see which one will pick up the item (like a cheerio) faster. Anyway as far as the product goes I have all tile flooring with miscellaneous area rugs around the house. Coredy has no problem not only transitioning between the rugs and tile but it picks up dirt and debris on both equally well. It can even climb up on my mats in front of outside doors and dog doors without a problem or getting stuck. It comes with little side brushes that help push dirt away from walls and into front of the vacuum. It is super easy to empty and changing the filter is a breeze. If I could change anything about the vacuum it would be to make the container that holds the trash bigger and make the side brushes a little stronger. Regardless though I’m extremely please with our Coredy.
