Great packing cubes to organize and compress clothing and other items

The packing cubes arrived in a plastic back displaying the contents and country of origin (made in China). The cubes are very lightweight and made of nylon, so it should repel small spills and the stitching is very strong. They have a zippered opening that runs a little more than halfway around the cube. They do not open as “clamshells,” but provide plenty of space at the top to insert and remove items. Each has a second zipper that enables you to expand or compress the cube. The compression zipper runs around the entire bag. The zippers are solid but the nylon material is close to the zipper so you could snag the zipper if you aren’t paying attention. I haven’t had any problems with it but will continue to pay attention to how the zippers perform over time.
There are three different sized cubes: a large cube (I’ll use for packing pants and can fit about 3 pairs), a medium cube (packing 4 T-shirts), and a small cube (4 underwear and 4 pair of socks). The cubes hold more than they seem and I can easily fit more items inside. The medium cube with 4 T-shirts is fully compressed; if I unzip the compression zipper I could fit 2 more shirts or other items inside the bags as well. The nice thing about the cubes is that they keep everything together and neatly fit inside your suitcase, or in my case a carry on with plenty of room leftover for additional items. They can work great to compress items to make more room in your case or can expand to hold more and provide a way to organize your clothing.
I will continue to update my review as I use the packing cubes more over time.
Quick update - after using the cubes for a number of trips, they are holding up great and have been very helpful in organizing my packing. I find that they are great not just packing to go somewhere, but also for keeping dirty clothes from taking over your bag on the way home. I did have some difficulty with the compression zipper on the larger bag when trying to zip it up too quickly while it is full - the inner lining can get caught in the zipper. I found that by pushing the lining in while zipping prevents this from happening. Haven't had that issue with the smaller cubes and only with the larger one when it was full.

These are made of a very weak, flimsy material. The zipper got stuck on my trial run! They don't compress AT ALL!

Overall I'm happy with the purchase of my three compression cubes. But I will say these aren't "true" compression bags like the plastic ones you find. They are more like packing cubes that you can sort of push the air out of them and keep everything organized. I was hoping to be able to use them all in my Hynes backpack I use as a carry on that fits under the airplane seat but my bag is too small for all three of them. I think these would be fantastic for either a carry on suitcase or regular suitcase as you can fit them better.
In the large bag I was able to either roll up my pants or put the pants flat on each other, about 8 pairs of pants (many of my pants are yoga type stretch pants, jean capri's, cotton capris, etc. But I was surprised at how many I could fit into the large bag.
The medium bag I use for my shirts, of which I was able to fit about 10 shirts in. And the small bag I used for underwear, swimsuits, etc.
So far these bags are durably made and I think they will last quite a while.

Have you ever went on a trip and as you put together the different items and select quanities and qualities find that your perfect suit cases that you bought are missing areas for extra's? Well, we have, and since then we have decided to not have various items: Toothpaste, deoderant, toiletries, extra items that may not travel safely just loose in some compartment. The next issues is all these random items are stuffed into other compartments and you spend time trying to fish out what you need only to find that it went into the wrong zipper compartment.
We have done this for WAY too long, and decided to try these 3-in-1 separate travel bags that we were able to even put temporary labels on so that each one was separated safely and we knew exactly where to look when we needed something simple.
In the attached video you can see the spacing for large medium and small bags. They are solid material and flex as you put items in each one. There is not limit to the uses, but imagine having this package separate in the car or plane so that you know exactly where you important items are, and not have risk of items spilling all over your other belongings.
Use by themselves or use inside other packing, but you can not go wrong. We use locally when we need to go to some meeting, job, or game/camping so it is just light and compact. Aside from all the advantages, it ships super quickly and it is priced very fair when looking at similar items. We found that most single packing cubes were the same price or more, just for 1 bag only.

TAKE YOUR TIME ZIPPERING!!! I've read so many reviews saying the zippers are terrible. NOT TRUE! Remember you are compressing alot of things that will but stress on the bag structure. If you just yank on the zipper, yes there will be a problem. If you work the bag slowly as you zip, no problem.
The pic isn't great but shows all 3 bags in use. The large and medium fit nicely in tsa approved measure carry on....lrg bag = 2 pair denim capris, 2 tank tops 2 tee shirts and 1 maxi dress (I am plus size btw). Medium bag = khaki pants, 2 tee shirts, 1 blouse, 1 light sweater and a bra. The small bag I used in tsa approved measure personal item. Small bag =3 tanks 1 capris 1 bra. Lots of space left in personal item for toiletries, etc. Carryon I added 2 pairs of shoes and stuffed underwear in all the crevices.
I refuse to pay the prices to check a bag so these compression bags are great.
Update: So I am back from my travels. The bags travelled really nicely through a trip that had us staying in a different place every one to two days. This means the bags were opened, emptied, repacked often. The bags stayed in one piece; absolutely no zipper issues. This set of bags was well worth the money!

After trying several other brands, this one is the champ! Very durable and does exactly what it says they will do! I read other reviews before I purchased them about being careful not to get the material caught in the compression zippers, but I had no trouble at all. I tried them out on a 10 day student educational tour and boy did they hold up! We changed hotels every night (4 countries in 10 days) and everything was neat and organized!! I even had other parents come to check them out! I ordered another set as soon as I got home in a different color. The large size was perfect for folding my maxi’s and kimonos, and button up shirts with minimal wrinkles! I used the small one to pack an outfit and pjs in to put in my personal item on the plane in case my luggage was lost. Perfect size! Best bargain without trading quality! I love this brand!

I am satisfied with this purchase. I had been looking for compression cubes for our long term travels so I decided to test these out. I just took them on a recent trip and I was very surprised at how much fit inside the cubes. I have used the regular clam shell cubes but not compression. And I am happy with the compression aspect of it. These will definitely come in handy for long term travel packing. The zippers are durable and so is the material. I have a toiletry bag from the same brand and I am happy with that as well. Good quality travel items. I will be purchasing more. Thanks!

I have other regular packing cubes but was intrigued by the "compressible" feature. These work basically the same as other cubes - you just put the items in and zip it up but there is an extra zipper that will squeeze the items down so it takes less space in your suitcase. They work great! I recommend using the konmari method of folding your clothes and there won't be many wrinkles. The zippers seem sturdy - so far I have only used these for one trip but I think they'll be durable.

Purchased this because it's lightweight and waterproof. Upon receipt, I found where the zipper ends is how wide the bag opens, which is about 2/3. The thought of one hand to hold the cube while stuffing it does not appeal to me. I have since done some research and found there are quite a few compression cubes that unzip completely for ease of packing. The quality of these cubes seems durable and it's definitely lightweight but the design is not compatible with ease of packing.

I purchased the packing bags to help organize my clothes in my suitcase. Unfortunately, I had to use a smaller luggage bag than I planned so I couldn't use the larger two compression bags due to size. I did test this set with the clothes I planned to bring and while the clothes did fit, you have to use the compression zipper very carefully or it will snag. The bags are sturdy and you can fit several clothing items in them if you pack carefully.

The sizes are good and the zippers seem high quality. I’m not sure yet about the stitching but so far the set has worked out for transportability and keeping organized. I’d buy more sets if this brand would diversify their offerings and specials. So much for customer loyalty rewards! These are very good soft compression bags (not for protecting delicate items). Love the color. Could be more value since I think they will damage easily.
