On both my babies I used reusable organic unbleached flannel wipes+home-made solution, and the following commercial brands: Honest, Pampers Sensitive, WaterWipes, Huggies, and Clearly Herbal brands. Below is my rating of wipes on various categories (on the scale of 1-to 5, where 5 is superior)
Toxicity
Home-made - 5
Joonya, Honest, Clearly Herbal, WaterWipes - 4
Pampers, Huggies -1
Prevents skin irritation
Home-made - 5 - the only ones that consistently cause zero irritation, and repair the irritation caused by other wipes or diapers.
Joonya, Honest, WaterWipes- 4.5 (no issues for a few days)
Clearly Herbal - 4 (can go for 1-2 days)
Pampers, Huggies- 3 (okay for occasional 1-2 uses)
How well they separate when pulled from the tub
Joonya, Honest, Clearly Herbal, Pampers - 5

Smell
Home-made, Joonya, WaterWipes - 5 (none)
Pampers, Honest - 4 (pleasant)

How well they clean on the first pass (relates to texture, which 'grabs' the particulate)
Home-made, Joonya, Honest - 5 (1-2 wipes for an average poop amount)
WaterWipes, Clearly Herbal, Pampers, Huggies -2 (need 3-4 to get the job done)
Ability to stay moist without drying out half-way (NOTE: I use wipes warmer that accelerates drying out)

Overall, of the commercial wipes, Joonya and Honest are my favorite. They do not beat my home-made wipes and solution in my opinion, but are the second best. WaterWipes and Clearly Herbal are in the 'like' category, and Pampers and Huggies are in the 'avoid' list.
