My BP is all over the chart, I have trouble with keeping it high enough
that I don't pass out! Every time I feel dizzy I take my BP and when I go
to drs I bring it and he can adjust my meds accordingly!
Easy to you, put it on wrist and press button and wait! Simple

This monitor is easy to use

I bought this several weeks ago. I do home health care. I depend on my equipment's accuracy for my patient's wellbeing.
This monitor is easy to use. Its heart rate monitor is accurate.
However, the BP function is WAY Off. It's always at least 10 points higher than a manual read and often much higher.
If I went by the readout on this monitor, every patient I see would end up in the hospital unnecessarily.
Unfortunately, I don't believe there's any way to calibrate this monitor.
If you need accuracy, which everyone does when monitoring vital signs, opt for something else.

Proper placement is key

Works, but put it on your inner wrist (opposite of a watch) with your arm bent and level with your heart for accurate readings. It took me a few tries to get this correct.

Much more convenient than an arm monitor, but the batteries only lasted a month ~ 42 readings. To add to the frustration, each time you change batteries the date and time must be reset (previous readings remain saved to memory). Hopefully the next version will improve on those issues.

Not the greatest, disagrees by 30 points with Qardio

I have to disagree with all of these positive reviews. I like this little wrist cuff a lot, because it is so simple to use and easier to use on the wrist than a regular arm cuff. But when I compare the readings to the Qardio I just bought which cost 3x as much, this one is off by 30 points at least. I have to calibrate both of these with the doctor's office in April. This one could be right. But it consistently gives me the higher BP readings, so I'm not sure if it is correct or not. I really like it as I said, just not sure how accurate it actually is. I guess if you buy be sure to calibrate with the doctor's office. Then you will know which is correct.

Purchased this for a friend that wanted a good wrist monitor.I chose this one because it had good reviews.So far he has only gotten one good reading.We always get some kind of E rror message.I have went back and reread every time what to do and how to avoid this,and we strictly go by the instructions.This is not the first one of these either of us has used so it's not like we are idiots here.Never had so much trouble before.I told him we would go buy some new batteries in case the batteries that came with it are old.If that doesn't work I will be returning it..It didn't cost a small fortune,but thats too much to pay for one reading.

This blood pressure machine did not work for me. When twice tested by my primary care doctor it showed much different results and they were both much higher than the medical office blood pressure machine. She said rarely did wrist bp machines work correctly. HOWEVER, the company contacted me & offered to send a new one or a complete refund. It was extremely easy to use, see & understand, so you may want to try it & see if yours works.

Once You Get Past Setup Seems Okay

Just got this and the setup is a bear! The batteries it came with were just about dead. I used fresh ones ( 2 AA") If you make one mistake setting up each part, you start over again. I did several times; finally got it right! The reading seems close to accurate. Will see over next few days...Oh! and it has to be placed in the exact right spot...
UPDATE: I calibrated this with the arm cuff monitor. It is showing readings which are off (ten points lower) for the Systolic readings. My Doctor told me wrist monitors are not accurate. He may be right. Make sure you calibrate it against another monitor.

Got this mainly for exercise logging. Wasn't expecting BP to be perfect for roughly 30 bucks, but thought it would be nice to have. I tried it right out of the box, after reading manual. The main thing I noticed is the readings are completely different for each arm, I tried it multiple times throughout the day and they were consistently different by 20 or more points. I had it strapped to same place on wrist ~2cm up like suggested.

Doesn't seem right. (Also out of curiosity I tried it on my ankle and it said my bp was 100 points higher, Also fit my upper arm, said my BP was 80 too high, but since this was designed for wrist I wouldn't count that, just thought was curious to see)

Since it seems to do well half of what was advertised (pulse). 3/5. But will most likely return.

Accurate, but fussy about positioning

It's taken me a while to figure out how to get this cuff to give me accurate readings, but I think I've got it. Taking the advice of a nurse who reviewed this device, I make sure I am lying flat on my back with my wrist facing up for several minutes before I take my measurement. Without fail, when I am in this position, the reading is accurate. If I deviate from this position and process, however (like not waiting enough time in the supine position before starting it or taking it while sitting/arm bent/etc) it will show my pressure as being wildly too high. As an example, I took my BP while sitting up and it said it was 178/98. I immediately laid down, held that position for about five minutes, and then took my BP again. 122/80. Perfect. This definitely isn't a grab-and-go type of device, but if you do it properly, it is accurate.

I’m a relatively healthy 30 year old. I tested this on myself and got wildly different results. Systolic BP was in the 170s then the 120s. I guess you have to really follow the instructions and put it on correctly? I’ll keep trying but out of the box it isnt press and go. You can but no guarantees on its accuracy. I was going to give it away in the Philippines, but I dont feel it would be responsible to do so if it isnt reliable.
