Good product, but has design flaws

The idea is sound, and the cover fits the camera perfectly, but there are some things that should be done better. First, if you are planning to use a solar panel rather than relying on batteries alone, there is no hole in the back of the mounting cover to permit plugging in the power cord. There is a small rectangle embossed into the plastic but you will have to cut or drill an opening yourself. This should be made to snap out with finger pressure, or should be a flexible, replaceable plug.
The second problem is the mechanism for aiming the camera after mounting. It is a simple and intuitive design, but it does not actually allow for complete freedom in where you aim the camera, because the weight of the camera and mounting cover causes the assembly to sag in some positions. There is no way to tighten the adjustable stem to prevent this, again in certain positions. I especially had trouble setting one of my cameras to point downward and to one side, from a mounting position above one corner of my garage door. I ended up with a camera view that is slightly diagonal instead of level with the ground and horizon.
