DO NOT MOUNT THESE....
Until you tighten the barrel screw on the neck of the mount first. :)
Then install the camera into its bracket.
The neck will tighten and there is a U shaped notch in the metal. Your actual range of rotation is within that notch.
Sounds like a pain but its really not. basically you need to mount camera (in its bracket and screwed on to the mount), find the position you want it to be mounted in, mark your holes, unscrew the camera and then screw in the mount. If you screw it in first then tighten the barrel on the mount then you might not find the position you want.
I give this mount a 5 star rating regardless of all that because once you install the mount properly, it inst going anywhere. And removing the camera to change the batteries is as simple as unscrewing the camera.
I did not use the included screws though. They are not made of a durable material, the head on the first one i grabbed broke off when running it into house siding. (i just used pliers to remove)
