I really like this brand and any time buying other for a bit of price saving makes me sorry. I'd strongly prefer if Bounty returns to the "old" square format and fabric though. The idea of "durable" washing napkin is defeating the purpose of it. This fabric (or manufacturing process) leaves little stains (like oil stains) on the glass which the "old" did not when wiping glass or other shiny objects.
1.0 out of 5 starsbut it's not that good a value for the money

These are NOT the "huge" rolls that are sold in retail stores, they are about 2" shy in width of a real huge roll. Not sure how this was pulled off, but it's not that good a value for the money. VERY disappointed and will not order these again.
✪ Bounty ❝Select-a-Size❞ ✪ the original ½ sheet paper-towel ✪
❝Select-a-Size❞ is the original half-sheet option on paper towels from Bounty; after having purchased/used both types, we’ve found the new ❝Quick-Size❞ paper towels to be an inferior product; they are neither as thick nor as soft as the Bounty ❝Select-a-Size❞ towels. From my experience this listing is also the least expensive option on Amazon; (8 huge rolls; ±︎$16.50). If you do the math, it’s pretty easy to tell whether or not it’s a good deal, but to get accurate info you have to drill down on the Bounty offers available thru Amazon; i.e. how many towels, how many rolls, total cost + shipping, etc. This listing is one of the best options we’ve found; others look like a good deal until you do the math; most end up costing approx. 2x as much, and some cost even more. I’d advise avoiding listings for 82 towels per/roll; these are often way too expensive. ☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎ here's the MATH for this listing: Bounty ❝Select-a-Size❞ paper towels: 138 sheets × 8 rolls =1,104 sheets (total) $16.50 ÷︎ 1,104 sheets =0.015¢︎ per/sheet ✔︎✔︎✔︎ .015¢︎ per/sheet is a good deal ✔︎✔︎✔︎ ☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎☺︎
Disabled; Paid for; Never delivered; refused to refund b/c am unable to return a product I paid for but never received, couldn’t drive to pick up from any other location from my home address, where I am homebound and partnered with a medical service dog 24/7/365 @ my home due to a neurological disability. My service dog is tasked with assisting me in trying to shove pkgs delivered outside the front yard security gate I am, unfortunately, required to have in order to function, to ensure my health and safety, and to enable my service dog to assist me in doing things like walking alone to my own mailbox—which I have no choice but to situate on my property but outside my frnt security gate, or I can not access food or basic necessities that must be delivered, as many uninformed individuals are well-intentioned, however, sadly, also fearful of dogs. My service dog is exceptionally-highly trained and enables me to live independently and function day 24hrs/day. He’s incredibly bright and shockingly selfless in his dedication to my health and well-being; unfortunately, however, he is still merely a dog. He’s trained to open 7 different types of knobs and latches and keyed deadbolt locks, to enable him always to open every door associated with my property to ensure I have access to emergency care. He was not trained to open a deadbolted security gate for delivery persons he does not know, to welcome them onto my front porch for better access. That would put my personal safety at greater risk; since I have been attacked and viciously taken and assaulted by two strange men, while standing on my own porch, once already, I carry terrific fear about increasing the prospects of that happening again. Pls kindly assist me by delivering the few basic necessities I ordered and paid for; I’ve attempted several times to ask for help and am exhausted.
I currently have two rolls of Scott paper towels remaining from an 8 roll pack which I don't care for, so on most days, I don't even touch one. Being that I now want to use paper towels after I wash my hands in the kitchen, those just will not do. Tr Until recently, I did not use them very often because I preferred using fabric, but those days have passed and I'm now having to grab disposable paper for many purposes daily. My sister used Bounty all her life so I was accustomed to using them at her house. She goes through a roll a week at least, so she wants the best she can get, but for the last year or two, her taste has changed and she's been using softer Viva towels. This is something I noticed as a frequent visitor to her kitchen, so I debated whether or not to buy Viva for softness or Bounty for absorbency. Had I the patience to get to Costco when their doors open, I'd pick up a huge (pallet) of their Kirkland brand, but I won't venture into the store these days and I really don't need twice as many as the Bounty rolls even though they are less than twenty bills, about the same as this pack or sometimes even less. I was delighted to grab this pack from the Amazon Warehouse a few days ago, so the price was a couple of dollars less and the size ended up being the ideal solution for my needs and storage capabilities. These are very white, very sturdy, very absorbent, not the softest, but a great and reliable paper towel. The box I received contains packs like the one on the right side of the listing image that says you may receive one or the other. The left corner of the print is yellow, it says 2+5 Doubles Plus, and there are 138 sheets on each roll. Measurements are 11x5.9 inches and the first towel is stuck to the roll, so I lose the first and last sheets. I always find that aggravating with paper product rolls but I'm not about to count each sheet to see if they are included in the sheet count. I'll bet they are, so I'm better off buying the bigger rolls with more sheets since my roll holder will accommodate the diameter of a fresh larger roll. Less lost sheets per box. I'd buy Bounty again.
The only think I find displeasure with is that Amazon now is selling paper products at the same very high price that supermarkets are overpricing their paper products. So, I keep track of daily pricings when I am going to be ordering this from Amazon because -- I have found that prices can fluctuate up and down greatly at times, even during the same day. Almost like an auction. Do I buy it now or will I have to spend more when someone makes a higher bid. It's a game of chance. But, that's what works for me.
About Bounty Paper Towels - I really think of them as my favorites. They are a good thickness (not too thin). I like the size and the quantity on each roll. Really does work well on wiping up spills and also after Windexing mirrors or counter tops or car windshields, etc. As long as you don't try to use the same paper towel for too many consecutive things without getting a new one, it doesn't streak and leaves a nice, clean surface. I like the feel of the paper towel. It's not rough feeling like I think the paper towels with the "S" initial are. My opinion only. Sounds ridiculous (what I'm about to say) but, my husband was putting some tar/flashing along a roof leak and got some on his work gloves. Had a piece of Bounty paper towels in his pocket and used it to actually remove the tar from his glove and it worked pretty well. Rough enough to rub some things off of a surface and strong enough to soak up various spills and clean a surface. I even use it when spraying/cleaning my mailbox, windows, storm door, and some of my outdoor furniture. Like I said, it's a great paper towel.
I never buy bounty but this time I needed to plus amazon had a great deal on it. It's okay but the walmart great value brand was not any worse. Just now MIA like a lot of paper products. What's really annoying is that the paper actually STINKS. Just a unpleasant old socks smell. Fluke?
With all that's going on with the COVID-19 my Subscription was delayed a couple times so I was very pleased to get them. My dogs had been getting sick regularly and I really needed these along with my everyday use and washing hand frequently. I don't like using dish cloths when people can contact the virus if multiple people are in the home. If you have 1st responders in the family then you probably understand how unsterile fish towel can be. Thank you again Amazon and producers of these great paper towels. These are very large rolls with 8 to a pack and would normally last longer if this virus would go away altogether. Use these if you can as you definitely get your monies worth.
