CHOCKED FULL OF TONS OF AMERICAN FACTS, PERFECT FOR TRIVIA JUNKIES LIKE ME!

i received this book from librarything free in exchange for a review. I am totally addicted to trivia! My brother got me hooked on trivia many many moons ago and I still love it. Give me a book of trivia or a book of facts and I'm a happy camper!

Did you know Lincoln was a bartender at one point? Trivia like that and more awaits you in this really great trivia book.

Unimpressive Fact Checking

In the first four minutes of looking through the book I found two major errors. Under "KENNEDY's" he states Joseph Kennedy Jr. died in World War I. If so he would have died when he was three. He died in World War II. Under "September 11th" the author states two terrorist highjacked aircraft crashed into the World Trade Center towers and two into fields. Last time I checked one of those aircraft crashed into the Pentagon and not a field. Having been there I remember it all too clearly and have officially escorted many family members of the victims at the Pentagon Memorial. Who edited this thing, …… Washington Post writers? This begs the question; What else in this "Book of Facts" is incredibly wrong?

Stay Away From This Book

This book was a total waste of time. All it did was show a lot of useless information with no explanations of anything I was forced to give it one star and if I could I would have not given it any stars did not give it any stars or a minus rating.
