Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness.
I bought five pairs to be used for exercising and everyday use - the high rating (which I now don't believe) was why I purchased the five pair. They arrived the other day - I quickly took them out of the box and took the packaging apart - put one pair on my feet and the other four pair in my drawer. I was ready to tackle the world with my new socks. WHAT A MISTAKE! Even more so for taking the packing apart and not saving anything (under the belief that these would be the perfect socks: NOPE! Either running with them - walking with them - standing with them - they kept slipping - so every five minutes I felt myself reaching down to pull them up - if I didn't do that they would slip beyond my ankles. I would love to see if I am contacted by this company and have them do the right thing: let me return the socks and refund my money. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!
