Well, she arrived (movie star actor, Audrey Hepburn).
She was a personality in my teen TV watching days I later erringly supposed her Chinese astrology sign to be “horse”. (it’s really “snake”, I learned, in 2009, around there, being new (like the rest of the world) to the internet and computer age)
Still, a young girl I met in LA, we became friendly, I thought was like Audrey Hepburn, a “horse” (which, in the computer age, 2009, I found the real sign was “snake”, which made total sense. I have a book (reference) on Chinese astrology and you can look up the personalities and have fun “snooping” in on everyone you’re interested in (I mostly snooped on President’s sign and “boy, I’d like to date that girl”, (Hollywood snooping))
But, you can choose any profession and snoop.
“Audrey” arrived, “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, she shouts “timber” and defines “timber”.
I did my homework, defining “topple”, “knock over”, “fell”, “lumberjack” and this big mysterious word, since 2013: “slash”.
(which means an area in the forest (clearing) where “felled” trees, cut down by lumberjacks (logging profession (I looked up “logging” too)).
“The debris left over after''timber ``. (felling a tree)
I lost my trash picker upper job after I heard “slash”. (2013)
Seven years later, after studying “slash”, “logging”, the word “knock over”. (taking this word apart, defining “topple” (fall top forward), defining “knock”).
Doing homework, then, “wade” (which means go through something difficult, like the party on “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, social occasions can be hard if you have an undefined word).
I “waded” through this movie and “Audrey” shouts: “timber!”
And, boy, is it funny real and a great learning experience.
I’m ready to get back to work, if it were still 2013.
Be just an ignorant custodian/janitor, picking up trash. (I didn’t think I’d get anywhere in our confused future, but, being ignorant of everything)
The future’s tough, mean, downright ruthless.
Anway, Audrey makes it fun, learning “slash”.
Boy, that girl at her party, falling over like a tree. (when American women, to me, can be “towering”. (American women achieve monuments)
She (she’s drunk) “topples” (falls top forward, knocked over, so to speak).
And, I’m out of the woods.
The company, though, is no longer running big shot style, like it did, 1998-2015. (approximation)
I can’t get my luxury job back (my peers wanted more pay, but, my personal opinion on what I was paid, was I was paid double what a dishwasher gets and I was very satisfied)
I was satisfied until I had to learn “slash”.
That took seven years (you know, there’s a superstition “7 years bad luck” if you break a mirror, and 1986, I broke at least 6 mirrors, emptying the trash in Florida, hmm….)
Anyway, an American mom, in a sense: Audrey.
Made it fun learning “slash”.
A drunk woman “felled”, so to speak, by alcohol.
It’s soo funny.
Her other movies, “Sabrina”, “Roman Holiday” are wonderful romance “ah”, “life” movies.
Coming down to work, having to “knuckle down” and learn something: “slash”.
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” is the study aid.
I don’t drink and can’t get drunk.
I crawl on the floor like a baby, losing my equilibrium, before anything happens and spend the rest of the night hugging the toilet (throwing up). (I can’t hold my liquor)
So, I have a hard time understanding the word “drunk”. (I’ve never been there)
But, Audrey, at this social occasion teaches me “slash” and I’m delighted to get back to 2013, “Mr. super trash picker upper”.
It’s not a bad personality, it isn’t a bad role to play in life.
I was good at it, proud of it.
Now, I can still be so.
Thanks to a great actor: Audrey. (her courage through difficult WWII times, wow, what a lady)
(the next day, watching “My fair lady” “blaggard” (professor Higgins calls Elizah’s father a “blaggard”) gets defined.
I get the chance to write about Rousseau now from a 2019 presentation of an “Audrey Hepburn” collection: about 4 DVD movies of many of my favorites.
I watched, second, (in order): “My fair lady”.
Professor Higgins calls “my fair lady’s father a “blaggard”: “Noun. (plural glaggards) (dated) A scoundrel; an unprincipled contemptible person; an untrustworthy person. Usually, only used to refer to a male person”.
“S. E. Frost Jr.” the man from Brooklyn, New York (who writes a biographical note on Rousseau (the book Emile, by Rousseau)), calls Rousseau, “unprincipled”.
Saying his mother (Rousseau’s) dies after Jean was a week old.
That he grew up “wild”, so to speak, “unprincipled” in which I never defineduntil I ordered “Audrey Hepburn’s” 7 DVD collection of wonderful movies she made.
And, secondly, was watching “My fair lady”.
Forced to look up “blaggard”, finding “unprincipled” among the definitions for.
Rousseau, I finally understand.
I finally get one of the many words, as a 23 year old (I was so searching in those days, searching for identity, all those things, reading books, new to the “real” world, 5 years, out of graduating high school)
One of the “many” words, as a 23 year old that made it so I couldn’t or was having a hard time getting along.
Which gets very, very, very tiresome, when you reach age 50 and over.
My Italian (trumpet player) friend called me up on the phone.
He owned a bookshop and let me choose two books, as a gift.
I chose the classi “Autobiography of Benjamin Frnaklin” and “Rousseau: on education (Emile)”.
Education (educating me) was on my mind.
I read as much as possible that night.
Paul called the next morning, we were pinball, bowling pals. (after graduating high school).
He phoned me, said I didn’t call him, as I promised to.
I had slept in.
Words I didn’t understand reading had made me oversleep.
“You overslept”, Paul said.
Angrily, I replied, “so!”
It was the beginning of my “not” getting along.
I got to the point where I didn’t get along and was reclusive.
1985, I discovered Scientology.
Ron, a man with a “good” name, not “unprincipled” (or a “blaggard”)
(as in Audrey Hepburn’s role of a father: “blaggard”)
Still seeing what Rousseau saw regarding education.
I myself, I, myself thought an “unprincipled” man would have to be that way to see through the educational problems of his times (the 1700s).
A time when education was at an all time LOW. I mean all-time.
And, 1984, with that precise moment, when an attempt on Ron Reagan’s life (the president) was made, things/life was stressful (for sure) and education, my generation’s educational future, was at a low. (Michael Jackson did, at this time, come on the scene and save things. He raised morale)
But, L. Ron Hubbard and Rousseau, I looked tol
I thought to myself, an unprincipled living lifestyle “would” be necessary, to “observe” “any-thing” wrong with the educational system.
“You damn idiot!”, was my attitude.
(that I wasn’t educated, myself)
Like Rousseau, the unprincipled, lost his mom when he was a week old, philosopher, type person.
You identified with “the ghetto” type “not enough” to eat, be educated, get a living, “ghetto” population.
And, I said “how did Rousseau “see” these things, even as “early” as the 1700s.
That “we”, in the 20th century can’t “learn?”
And, L. Ron Hubbard, his religion, Scientology, told me (which is “how” to learn)
I know what “unprincipled” means, as of today.
But, never defining it, 1985 to just moment ago.
To live “like” Rousseau and educate myself to be damn near a savage, damn near.
Because Rousseau says incessantly, a savage is 24/7 thinking, in control of his life.
Versus an apathetic failed suicidal college, can’t learn, “drop out”.
And Ron and Rousseau became my idols (adding other writers: Thoreau, Herman Hesse, Henry Miller (Miller writes quite a bit about the “ex” scene, what it’s ‘really” like and he was banned. But, the U.S. eventually let his stuff be read)
Now that “blaggard” is finally looked up (and Audrey’s wonderful role in “My fair lady” was key to my understanding “blaggard”.
“Boy, you just ever so identify with her ignorant state, her role, in the movie”.
Can’t I see my own father as one (a blaggard).
(as father always claimed to not have a college education, that even the president was not that smart, but, had other people to help him make decisions)
And, can’t I start communicating!
My true mentor, a class 8, Peter, 1985, told me “communicate”.
Said to me constantly.
And, I’m sure he meant for me to define “unprincipled”.
(Only “sonner”, like 1986.
(Not, 2020, today)
“Better late than never”
(I hope you get the “gist” of what I’m saying)
Now, as a last thing.
Say that I was accused of child molesting, at age 24.
Well, really….with “unprincipled”, “blaggard” defined.
Finally. (it was a peer, two of them, one, I graduated from high school with and the other person who accused me had moved into our small town and became a resident, after being schooled elsewhere)
Define your words and continue your life.
(next, about a week later, 16 Sept. 2020)
Well, it’s been over a week since the “Audrey Hepburn” collection arrived.
I’m glad Amazon.com put on “The Children’s Hour”, where a little girl, representing me being in a kids personality, “suffocating”. So, it represented “compassion”, for my suffocating in the year 2016 (I suffocated 4Xs as a result of the hospital’s dietician misinterpreting my stating “I prefer refined salt over table salt”, to mean “no salt” whatsoever).
After focusing on the child suffocating, the moments right after, was me, moving on from the “death: I’m suffocating” point, 2016.
Watching the film move on, moved me on.
It demonstrated “there’s life after “torture”/”suffocation”.
Seeing myself move, as the child moved on, in the film, showed “I” was moving on and I stopped being stuck in 2016: July.
I come up to present time, which is 22 Oct. 2015, not jailed or put in the state hospital for involuntary medication and observation.
Audrey’s brave demeanor helped.
I don’t feel so alone anymore.
I want to thank Amazon.com for putting the movie on (The children’s hour).
The child suffocating showed compassion for my own suffocating.
Able to get into the child’s personality, moments onward in the movie moved me on.
Instead of stuck in 2016, tortured (four times: 11pm-1am (one day), 5am-7am (same morning), after gym class hard severe exercise and the 4th was moving to a new room and fumes coming through that room’s vent still resulted in suffocating, so the head nurse humanely ordered the system shut off (heat system).
Thanks for the “rare” footage of the child suffocating.
The compassion allowed me to move forward being the child moving on, as I watched the film moments after the child suffocated.
