Aptly titled album of standards

This is the album Chenoweth was born to make. These standards are revisited quite often but rarely with such care and feeling. "I'ce Got A Crush On You" and "The Very Thought of You" both with Dave Koz are really lovely but then, so is the rest of "The Art of Elegance." Chenoweth makes "A House Is Not a Home" her own in her powerful version here. She never overdoes any of this material, instead letting her amazing voice find nuance and feeling in every song. If you enjoy The Great American Songbook and flawless execution, you'll love this recording. More of the same Ms. Chenoweth, please!

I love Kristin Chenoweth but don't think this is her best work. It can't compare to "Coming Home" which I listen to almost all the time.

Saw her in concert - which was far better than this recording...a little disappointed that the piano accompaniment wasn't the central choice of the producers - at times the horns overshadow her voice which was a total bummer.

When I ordered this I didn't realize it was for an mp3. I thought it was for the C D. So I couldn't load it since I don't have an mp3. So I paid for it and can't use it. I thought it was coming from a company that was called mp3.
