Considering the price as well as performance, I can't find a better deal on batteries

I had been buying Duracell batteries (AA, AAA, C, D) from Sam's Wholesale club because the bulk prices were better than small battery packages, but I switched to AmazonBasics. The reason is the price. Of course, that brings up the question of performance. Which is better? I have 3 kids and a zillion electronic toys. We replace batteries often around here, and frankly there are so many electronic toys, controllers, and remotes, that I have a hard time keeping up with performance of specific batteries. But I came to a realization after comparing prices between the 48 pack of AmazonBasics, and the 48-pack of Duracell at Sam's. For the batteries I was buying, the Duracells would have to last 66% longer to justify the price difference. Now I can't be sure which lasted longer, but I know for sure the Duracells I used to use were NOT lasting 66% longer than the AmazonBasics. They may have been better, but not THAT MUCH better. I'll stick with the AmazonBasics.

leaky batteries

Not only did a few batteries leak they ruined one of my Gideon Flameless LED candles. I am so disappointed. I thought that with the Amazon name I would have a quality product. I purchase many products from the Amazon website.
I would like a refund and a replacement for the ruined Gideion Flameless LED candle. I purchased three candles and the 6 inch candle is ruined.

Stocking cabin for winter....

For some reason, these AAA batteries are not usually on my list for the winter. This year I did remember as the remote for my TV went 'dead'. So, luckily this jogged my memory.

Have quite a few items that use this size battery so am glad I purchased these before the winter arrived.

Personally I have never seen much difference between expensive batteries and those that are lower in price. And, that is probably because I only use them for radios...on occasion, remote controls and flashlights.

Will update if these don't perform as expected.

Highly recommended.

I'll admit that I am usually a name-brand kind of guy when it comes to retail products. I know, the psychology of marketing has gotten me; I'm a lost cause. But AAA batteries really aren't very high stakes, and I like the simplistic design/visuals of most Amazon Basics products, so I gave these a go.

So far, everything works great. I've only used 1 of the batteries in my 8-pack thus far. If I notice a particularly large dip in performance or longevity I will update with a new review. But for now, they're exactly what I expect.

I am a battery snob and I usually never bother with off brands. I have been successful in using other amazon branded products and wanted to give these a try. I am so glad that I decided to try these because I really do not think I will use another battery brand. Great price and work just as long as energizer or Duracell brand batteries. I have had no leaks issues or duds. I am super happy with these batteries and would recommend to a friend. In fact I actually recommended these to my mother and she couldn’t be happier with them either.

AmazonBasics Batteries are life!

I've been impressed with the performance and quality of AmazonBasics battery. Though the price point is pretty low, don't let that fool you - they are every bit as long-lasting and durable as the brand-named batteries on the market. In my opinion, there's no reason to spend more on a battery because of it being a name that you're familiar because I can tell you that my experience has been amazing. And honestly, I can't tell the difference between AmazonBasics batteries and other batteries that I've bought in the past that has cost me much, much more money!

Good, Reliable Battery For The Price

I have used AmazonBasics batteries before and know they are a good value. When at home I normally use rechargeables, but because I was leaving on a trip to visit various family members and would need batteries, rather than taking batteries with me I ordered these for delivery to my first stop. They are doing the job I expected and any not needed immediately will go home with me and put to good use.

Great value on batteries! I don't know about longevity or remote control because my focus is on other priorities, but there isn't anything I distinctly didn't like about these batteries so I assume that means they do well in those two criteria. I bought these for their price and I've been happy with them.

Whoa! There is a lot of batteries for the price! I needed them for several remotes so I cannot comment on how long they would work in toys or other things. But Its the same ones that I have in my previous remote and it lasted almost a year!

Like I said, they're cheap batteries that work just fine. I can't speak to longevity because I have them in a foreo face brush that I don't use every day. They seem totally fine and I'll definitely repurchase Amazon-branded batteries in the future.
