Good solid LED bulb. Construction is first rate. The only issue I have is my fault. I didn't notice that I'd ordered the "daylight" type. They are really bright white. IMO too bright for use in anything that doesn't have a shade like a ceiling fan with open bulbs. If you need very bright light in an area these will get the job done. Don't get me wrong these are great bulbs but realize that they ARE a very bright white color.
In the picture you can see the Amazon bulb in the middle section of my kitchen light compared to the two "warm white" on the ends.
1.0 out of 5 starsI was initially very happy with these lights

I was initially very happy with these lights. They are nice and bright. But in less than a week they have begun to burn out!!! So disappointed. A lot of money to spend and they only last a few days. I would NOT recommend these.
I’m a little concerned, never have I heard this from an LED. Purchased the 2700K 75 Watt equivalents. The buzzing sound is constant, on every bulb (of all 16 I installed) and it’s pretty annoying. That being said, they still do the job of providing light, so that’s worthy of 3 stars I guess.
I bought these bulbs to go into a ceiling fixture. The sockets for the bulbs are above a decorative glass cover. While the bulbs fit the normal sized sockets, the bulbs themselves are larger than regular incandescent bulbs, to the point where I could not put the cover back on the fixture with these bulbs in place. I managed to find a lamp with a normal sized bulb and a large shade and switched them out. So just be sure that space is not limited in the fixture in which you want to use these bulbs. Other than that, I'm pleased so far. The daylight really brightens up our dark rooms.
I put these Daylight bulbs in my closets. Do the job. 100 watt equivalent is a bit bright for an ordinary size closet. 75 watt, better. 75 watt makes a nice desk light. However, in a table lamp they look very odd indicating to me that the CRI (color rendering index) isn't high. I think that's more important than the color temperature, at least for daylights. I have 6500K 90 CRI fluorescents in my shop, which are really wonderful. I see people have asked what the CRI is for these bulbs, but apparently the manufacturer or seller (in both cases Amazon) doesn't monitor these questions or care to answer. A CRI of 90 makes a lot of difference from an average CRI of 80.
I replaced the old normal 60w bulbs on the night stand lamps next to our bed with 100W equivalents... They were much brighter but due to the design of the bulbs most of the light seems to be cast upwards with the collar mechanism from the screw in part up to the glass taking up about 1/3 of the bulb, a smaller amount of light from the lamp is broadcast outward for use in reading.....but it sure does make the ceiling look brighter..... guess I can use some of the $3 I will save over the next ten years in electricity paying to pain the ceiling.
Some of you may remember when you went into a Barber shop or Beauty Salon with the big bright overhead lights that made a constant buzzing sound. Well, that is what these lights sound like. We have them in our bathrooms and they are pretty loud for a light bulb. We bought the soft LED Amazon light pack with 16 lights. All of them worked but they are a loud buzzing light. I probably will not buy these again if they burn out and just spend the extra money for a more quiet light from one of the box stores.
I bought these bulbs to use as replacements for light bulbs using older technology such as incandescent, halogen and CFL. The light color and brightness are good. However, the bulbs don't behave the same when distributing light compared to legacy light bulbs.
Light is only emitted from a region partway up the bulb; the bottom of the bulb is opaque. This is unlike incandescent bulbs and some CFL bulbs, If the bulb is in a light fitting positioned horizontally the light only appears to emit from one end.. In a light fitting with a single horizontal bulb mount at the top the the stairs it looks weird to me. With a light fitting with 2 bulbs positioned in alternate directions it probably looks okay.
I can't speak to the longevity of these bulbs, but I'm giving them 3 stars because of the product description. I ordered "soft white" bulbs but the light looks like a harsh flourescent hospital light. Definitely not flattering for a room I wanted to have a more homey feel too. I will pay more money and find other bulbs. These bulbs will work fine if you don't care about the harshness of the light.
have a ceiling light fixture i made for my kitchen and in just under one year 3 bulbs have burnt out. Not sure why, the heat factor is not great inside that fixture, actually less than it was with CFL bulbs in the same fixture.
Light wise, i wanted the Daylight and they're exactly what i expected - good light when they're burning
This is the fifth pack of these bulbs I've bought in the last couple of years to replace older CFLs and LEDs as they've worn out. They have all been great to this point. However, the latest pack all emit an electrical buzzing sound. Some are fairly quiet but at leas one is so loud it can be heard on the other side of the house! No way I'm keeping a bulb making that kind of sound! Because I've had good experiences with the other packs I've bought, I'm going to exchange these and see if maybe it was just a bad batch. If the next batch does the same thing, I'll be dropping my rating further and finding a different brand to buy!
I did a search for smart bulbs and these appeared. I thought I was getting a great deal. I was not. These are just really expensive LED lights. However, they are very bright. If they weren't so bright I'd give a lower rating because they are so expensive. It's my bad for not reading all the details before purchasing but I'm super bummed I didn't get smart bulbs. So in conclusion, great NON-smart bulbs at a not so great price.
