This has "saline laxative" printed on it, yet it smells and tastes likes scented soap. So, in my opinion it's not for ingestion. I like to sprinkle a very tiny bit of epsom salt into my water to get rid of the bitterness from the filtered water taste. This does not help. In fact, it's far worse than the filtered water taste. I'd strongly advise against buying this product if you don't like drinking soap, or whatever else may be in this. Whatever it is, it's not listed on the packaging or the product page. So it's either been contaminated with their other scented epsom salt products, or it's a misprint on the label.
