A Good Personal Music Player, But...
Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2015
I primarily purchased this music player to keep in my vehicle while connected to the stereo system via usb cable in my console. I wanted a music player with menuing system that would allow music selection by: playlist, artist, etc. When it arrived, I was pleased that the device did have the menu selection system and a shuffle mode. The drawback was that the "Playlist" option was at the bottom of the selection list and you had to scroll down to the bottom of the list before you could select that option. I would have preferred it at or near the top, as that is the function I would use most often. I loaded the player with music, selected my playlist and "Shuffle" mode and connected it to usb. The player's screen lit up with "Charge and Transfer" or "Charge and Play" options, I selected the latter. I soon realized the songs were playing sequentially and not shuffling and including songs not on the playlist. I wanted to check to see if it was in shuffle mode and was surprised to find that I was locked out of the menu system. I had to disconnect the usb cable in order to access it. It was in shuffle mode. Conclusion: When the player is connected to usb, it locks out the menu system, disregards your settings and ignores the playlist.
On the positive side, the player is feather light, the casing is rugged and performs well as a personal player operated in battery mode.
